Video 54: Great news, real estate agents are jumping up and down because of the news that short sales are going to get shorter. The Obama administration announced yesterday that the process was going to be streamlined. Everyone jumped up and down (including myself). Well now that I have read the 43 page “guideline” on short sales, I am not so thrilled. Nothing to see here really when you read the details. I want to thank you for providing the link to the new short sale reform legislation, I have heard about but haven’t had the time to locate it, so you helped me streamline the time it would have taken to find that report. Hopefully in the long run it will help sellers and buyers understand why their short sale interest was denied in a timely manner.
