I have been in the homes of people trying to help them get loan modifications to become permanent and some of the stories I have are amazing. I had one who had been working on it for two months, had sent in all the paperwork back in September and then late November they were told they had to start all over again at the beginning with another department because the bank had changed the way they handled process. Not that the lender would transfer the paperwork to the new department, they had to start all over again at square one. Redonkulous.
