Another great place for free wi-fi in Tempe you may want to check out isCherubini’s at 1740 E. Broadway. It is located on the north west corner of McClintock and Broadway. Cherubini’s is a great place to bring your laptop, enjoy a coffee and get some work done. They have a TV, couches and a great room in the back that can be reserved for meetings.

If you are looking for wi-fi in Tempe you may want to check out the Gold Bar Espresso at 3141 McClintock. It is located on the north east corner of McClintock and Southern. You won’t find any whipped cream from a can here, all theirs is home made. Make sure you try the Mocha Especiale. You can also find them on Facebook and Twitter.

December 27th at 10 a.m. the Phoenix Metro Light Rail opens! There will be music, exhibits and other activities at various park-n-ride light rail locations throughout the East Valley including Tempe and Mesa.
On both Saturday the 27th and Sunday the 28th you will be able to ride 20-mile the light rail for free.

I know there was a lot of mixed opinions on whether the light rail should have been built or not. No matter what your opinion was, light rail is here. Give it a try, who knows it may surprise you.
