1) Are you addicted? – Are you addicted to looking at the past instead of forgetting the past and moving forward? Another great free video from Tom Ferry.
2) No more drama and hype: Known facts on RPR – Still confused about the RPR? This post will lay out the facts of what it is better than any I have seen yet.
3) 10 tips I learned from my first listing video shoot – Thinking of adding video shoots to your listings? Here are some good tips to save you time and learn from others mistakes.
4) Showcase your networking presence with an online business card – With more and more people doing their home shopping online you need to make sure you do everything you can to differentiate yourself from the crowd.
5) Negative equity: The elephant under the rug – So what can you do if you are upside down in your house? Well you only have a few options, and loan modification is very rarely a serious option.
6) Where are the smokin’ hot deals? – Of course all real estate is local, and your market may vary, but it seems more and more the smoking hot deals in real estate are for those looking to move up into their next home.
7) Seriously dude, learn to spell and write in paragraphs – This is why I spell check everything before I put it into MLS, because I am horrible at spelling. Another reason why video is so much easier.
8 ) The role of the real estate financial analysts – I am sure there are few the truly analytical types out there, this one is for you.
9) #NAR09 – San Diego – One more wrap-up of the NARDiego event, and only posting this one because it may be the most compete and informative overview I have seen on the event.
10) Virtual REBarcamp – What one agent thought of the event – Unfortunately I was unable to attend this REBarcamp virtually, but I had very much wanted to. After reading this post it looks like it was mostly a success and something to build off in the future. What I am hoping is in the future these become more advanced and separate themselves from the IRL barcamps which tend to be more for beginners.

1) Mortgage rates are gonna rise – We have been hearing it for a while now, it is coming. One thing I think everyone agrees on, they are not going to be falling by any measurable degree.
2) Virtual REBarCamp is today – I am not going to be around much today unfortunately, or this is where I would be at!
3) Listings on Facebook – I am not really a fan of listings on Facebook, but if you want them on a fan page I get it. If you do decide you want them, this is a cool app! If you are really trying to do real estate on Facebook and you have not contacted Mike Mueller yet, what are you waiting for?
4) Monday morning planning session! – Tom always has great ideas on planning, which I still need a lot of help with. Love the IF N.I.S.I.D.E. concept. If you live in the Phoenix area Tom Ferry is coming to Scottsdale on December 8th for a free seminar.
5) Part time Realtors make $8,600 per year!!! – Brad makes the case for why you should hire a full-time agent in this short video.
6) The purchase agreement is more than a letter of intent (or should be) – Kris, this is something I have been thinking about addressing lately, but no way could I have done it as well as you have.
7) Buyer Reps: Helping Everyone Win in a Short Sale – This post goes great with number 6.
8 ) Three reasons Dave Ramsey got it right – A follow up to the Dave Ramsey segment on why you should use a real estate agent to sell your house.
9) Change will make you an enemy of the status quo – Change anyway – Matt does a good piece here on how standing out in the minority is a good thing and we should always be questioning our industry, but remember, we are part of that industry.
10) Details of the new $6500 tax credit for existing homeowners – Video on the extension and details on the $6500 tax credit.

1) Virtual RE BarCamp on November 17th, 2009 – Been unable to attend an RE BarCamp? Here may be your chance.
2) My Usual Suspects moment – real estate lead generation – Anything that starts out with a Usual Suspects movie clip you know is going to be good… and this post delivers and gives good advice on return on work.
3) FHA down payment requirement could increase to 5% – As it would mean less people able to buy a house I am not supposed to like this, but I think it is a good idea as some people who are buying houses really shouldn’t be.
4) For the love of God, buy this house!! – When hiring a listing agent make sure they know the market.
5) How are Realtors earning trust? – Not only does Greg deliver an interesting topic of Realtor’s involvement in earning trust, it is also an interesting video shoot idea.
